Wagner Group is a Design and Project Management consultancy which currently works on the origination, establishment and execution of Public Private Partnerships (PPP), Major Event Planning and other property transactions in Australia and around the World.Key skills include, design and project management, bid preparation and assessment, client liaison, stakeholder management, risk analysis, contract administration, financial control, and strategic and operational planning.

Experience gained through an involvement in a diversity of building types and delivery methods on major projects in Australia, Europe, Asia, India and the Middle East. brings the following to each project undertaken.
  • Specific PPP expertise. Having being involved in over fifteen PPP projects with a project design, construction and operational focus driving value through each of the bid formulation and submission, presentation, offer and negotiation phases of the process.

  • Diverse experience. With major event operational, planning and delivery expertise underpinned by a background of nearly 20 years of architectural design, construction and project management experience.

  • Unique perspective. Operations, design, bidding and construction and project management background with an emphasis on minimizing risk and maximising revenue.

  • Effective communication. An interactive ‘hands-on’ approach to managing people and projects where the team remains client focussed within established business and management parameters.

  • Quality and technical management. Experience gained through a grassroots introduction to the construction industry combined with proven quality management systems ensures coordinated, buildable and bankable solutions.

  • Time and cost focus. Having worked on large complex projects and major events such as Olympic, Commonwealth and Asian Games around the world Wagner Group has real experience in managing complex multi faceted projects within fixed timelines and tight budgets. These types of projects have no float or contingency and therefore timelines have to be carefully established and managed.

  • Stakeholder management. Operational planning for major events involves the assessment and management of the requirements of up to 32 different functional areas where each party has a significant role in the success of the project.

  • Significant Overseas experience. Wagner Group has been responsible for the delivery of major infrastructure projects associated with the Sydney, Athens and Beijing Olympic Games. More recently he has been involved in the operational planning for the Asian Games in Qatar, bidding the programme management contract for the London 2012 Olympic Games and working in Dehli on the 2010 Commonwealth Games preparing the Venue Briefs for all the competition venues and helping prepare the Games Operational Plan and Project Management brief for the Organising Committee.
